5s can't be solved by one person. It is very slow to implement. Special tally staff can be arranged to organize warehouses in a targeted manner. There is no trick to tidy up the messy warehouse, only work hard to clean it up thoroughly.
If it's normal, the leader will definitely not give you too much time to sort it out. Such a chaotic situation can't be sorted out after a few nights of work. Moreover, the host has just taken over now, so I suggest not to be too rushed, otherwise it is easy to make mistakes or do repetitive work because of unfamiliar materials.
It is best to familiarize yourself with the materials first and sort out the most commonly used parts first. If you have time, consciously check them out gradually. At the very least, they will not affect the company's current material receiving and dispatching work. Then when you feel that you are familiar with the warehouse and materials, and when the time is right, organize a warehouse sorting and planning plan, which is best combined with the warehouse or the company-wide inventory, first organize and rectify, and then check the quantity. The first time the data may not be particularly accurate, it doesn't matter, then we will do a few small inventories inside the warehouse, and slowly all the data will be accurate.
The last is to formulate a set of relevant regulations on warehouse management, planning, placement, etc., and insist on frequent sorting and inspection to prevent chaos again.
